In the past, I've given many attempts at creating a website. First, there was InuYasha Forever, which was not only a fan site for InuYasha, but it was the first time I'd actually made my own layout. Then there was Petal Dance, which was a mixture of graphics and anime information. It was also my very first successful attempt at creating a website. So a few months after opening up Petal Dance, I decided that maybe I was ready for my own domain.

Well since I didn't have a job, and no way to buy one for myself, I asked my father to buy one for me. At first he said "No," but like any good daughter, I kept politely asking him at least once a week. Finally he said he'd buy me one for Christmas. Well, Christmas came and went, and still I had no domain. He pushed the purchase date back three times, with which time I needed to decide on a domain name.

My choices were Ookami-Kishi[dot]NET, Cold-Winter[dot]ORG, and PetalDance[dot]COM. Ironically, Hanikamiya[dot]NET wasn't even one of my choices until the day of purchase. It was a last minute decision, because it means "Shy," in Japanese, and that describes my personality perfectly. Thus Hanikamiya[dot]NET was born on August 15, 2006.
